New Year Gathering Dinner

I open my mailbox this morning and received an invitation for a gathering dinner at EQ hotel tonight. Immediately, my answer is NO since I have no transport(my car still in the workshop after the accident) and have asked my father's help to send me to work. Later that morning, Fara asked me either to join or not and after discussion(job settlement and car pool), we decided to join the dinner together. Plus,Teoh is going to join us in the car pool. We reached there at 8pm and immediately served ourselves with the food/buffet served. We sat together with our boss, and we had about 6-7 rounds of repeating the buffet. The most likely is banana fritters. With my simple creativity, I have dress up the banana with chocolate topping, sprinkles with chocolate rice and almond. Whoever stopped at our table were fascinated with the decoration til they also prepared the same course including my Boss! Down to the dessert...Neither me or Fara had to go through another round of buffet. Both of us are totally full!!!Later..to conclude the event, my GM speak up some speeches and there is end of the night. Fara, Teoh and me excuse ourselves and head up home.

P/S: Fara is fun. It's cool to have a colleague like Fara who's can cheer up my day...

Happy Birthday to Me

It supposed to be celebrated today, but my sis insists to celebrate it last Sunday. Her excuse was; I was working on 30th and not able to come home for the celebration. Well, it's nothing illegal to celebrate in advance. It was a small celebration which gathered couples of relatives. The theme was RED, so all of us are were wearing red including the guest. On the night before, I managed to suit myself a red kimono (after search out through my wardrobe) for the next day event. On the day, I received a call from workplace that required my service to settle an urgent matter. So, I spend 2 and half hour (Journey from Penang to Kulim and back forth including 15 minutes of job settlement, huh!). As I reached home, the menus already served on the table. The menus were cupcakes, laksa, fried rice and sort of junk food. For kids, my sis and I have prepared some goodies bag contain 'back to school' and birthday pack- just to cherish them. Not much pictures to share, just some snap on my cupcakes and kids with their goodie bag....

P.Ramlee

ASTRO has shown up its appreciation to National icon P.Ramlee by announcing October as the month of P.Ramlee. I don't know what is the significant to chose October instead of March and May. Anyway, I really enjoyed watching all his famous and talkable film for one whole complete month. Out of many films he had produced, Seniman Bujang Lapok is always be my favourite. It doesn't matter for how many times I've watched it, the feeling is still virgin and genuine as it was first time you've seen the film. Despite of this, both Shuhaimi Baba and ASTRO team up to produce a special documentary of P.Ramlee reveals on his life since born till his death. By judgement,we only can see his joy, laughter, comedy and sincerity of P.Ramlee. But P.Ramlee's life is not transparent when he tried to keep all his sadness, problems to himself. Part of his life that really cries me out was when nobody cares about P.Ramlee after so much dedication he contributed to film industry. He was thrown out, ignored as he was nobody. Sincerely, I was touch by the documentary story line. However, even though there is no more P.Ramlee, his films and songs will live for decades and century...As for me,P.Ramlee will always be my favourite icon that nobody can deny.

No Mercy on ME !!!!!

I have very tight schedule since Raja left the company all of sudden. He left no messages, no notification, nothing at all. Something has turned him into a big LOSER!!!!(I wish he's a punch bag where I can punch, kick anytime I want to). I have to pick up Power One business unit totally on my own. My boss has put his both hands into Setec business unit, guiding Fara the newcomer Engineer. Pity for Fara, she's new and totally piled up with SCARs!!!It's really not a big deal for me to pick up Power One on my own; its just that Raja left all his shits and I'm the one who has to clean it! Damn!!!! For past two months, I have to stay late at my office(without claiming any OTs) try to settle everything up and continue to bring home all the junk. I am tight up with very demanding customer who wanted their report so bad so urgently till at one point I just stare at my PC; don't know which priority to react and respond. Weekends just like weekdays...24 hours facing my notebook, try my best to close all issue....Currently, I really can't make any commitment to anyone,everyone and anything! Poor my family, which I have to ignore some of their invites for 'family thing'. Somehow I still need to control my nerve between works and personal. Try so hard not to mix up..well when piled up with everything, you can be too emotional though...Arghh...I hope I still can manage all this rubbish!!

Selamat Berpuasa!!!!!

Ramadhan kembali lagi...cepatnya masa berjalan...tahun ni buat pertama kalinya aku sambut posa sorang2 bab aku keja dan tak sempat nak balik umah....jadual pack sangat, ada customer visit(one from US and one from China) kat kilang aku for two weeks...nak entertain kat production floor, nak siapkan report, nak siapkan presentation and so many other things to get done with...Bos aku lak cuti 3 ari nak sambut posa katanya...so kelam kabut la aku jadinya.... tak ada back up...semua kena sorang2...aduh...tension....balik lambat lagi.....tiap2 ari balik lambat....ari ni aku bukak posa on the road. Aku completekan report and realize jam dah 7.30pm...tak beli langsung makanan nak berbuka...so, aku singgah kiosk and beli ayaq kotak soya bean buat syarat bukak posa....Agaknya...tahun ni aku tak rasa nikmat posa and raya kot bab kerja cam org gila dah....Arghhhh......!!!!

Officially A Senior Citizen!!!!!!

Happy 55th birthday, Mama! We were celebrating our Mama big day on August 1st, at Naili's. We surprised her with 55 cupcakes(resembles number of my mama's age) with letters on each of them and special dedication from us which announced by the DJ. My throughout comment : Nice food(especially on lasagna and cucur ikan bilis), nice place, nice service and nice cakes too!

Food Fair.......Yummy!!!!

Last Thursday, my company had conducted a Charity Cares by organizing a Food Fair. Each department which interested to join are needed to submit their food selling proposal to the Organizer. There are lots of proposal of food stalls divided into three session: Breakfast, Lunch and Tea Break such as 'Nasi Ayam Panggang with Air Asam', Satay, Tosei, Capati, Roti Canai, Burger, Sandwiches, Ais Kacang, Cendul, Ice-Cream, Nasi Lemak, Cakes, Crackers, Cucur Cempedak, Cucur Udang, Laksa, Keropok Lekor, Fried Kuew Teow and ETC...... As for my department, we have provided set of lunch which include Nasi Putih, Sambal Tumis Udang Petai, Udang Sambal Kicap with Serai, Ayam Goreng Pandan, Ikan Bakar with Air Asam, Fish Curry, Ayam Masak Merah, Variety of Vegetables, Watermelon, Banana and etc.....So, as sort of supporting my team, I sincerely care to provide some help in the kitchen, not much but it's good enough though. Aha...one more agenda, my department also provided henna drawing services with affordable price RM2 to RM5. Even, our CEO has took part in it. He had a 'Scorpio' henna on his arm..heheheh...Cool huh!!! With all these food excitement, what I can do is eat all the way...But unfortunately, I have to attend a meeting on customer feedback which last for 3 hours....And there goes my Tea Break.......Anyway...I still have my Cucur Cempedak with me (Thanks to Zura and Fara for remembering)....enough to bear my hunger till I completed 3 SCAR at one time!
