MotoGP Sepang 2012
Yahoo!!!!!! At last I'm in Sepang...After for how many years I have been watching the race on TV,now this year I'm available myself to be part of the crowd in Sepang. The tickets was book earlier since July 2012 so that I can get the early bid price RM103 per person for two days.
On Friday after work, my family and I drove all the way to KL, my sis house and reached there about 2.30am. As usual, all of us will chat before gone to bed. But, since we are going to Sepang for the race, we wanted to do something special as supporter to Valentino Rossi. This is my sis idea and we just go for it just for fun. What we have created are the headband with letters of 'ROSSI' with some glitters attached to it. We also created hand-fan with picture of Rossi on it. As I mentioned earlier this is just for fun.
Saturday, 20th Oct 2012 - Qualifying round
We arrive there about noon and from the gate outside the ticket counter, I heard the announcer was presenting the rider one by one including Rossi and the crowd was cheering out loud. So, we were rushing to the crowd and guess what? I saw Rossi together with Lorenzo, Pedrosa and other rider on stage for autographing session. But, there they go...it just about few minutes and they all left with the guarded car.
Hmm...well, it's ok. At least I saw Rossi live in person. We walk through the booth and bought something for ourselves as souvenir. Later we head on to the seat and watch the qualifying race.
Sunday, 21st Oct 2012 - The race
Today, early in the morning after had our breakfast at Melawati and straight to Sepang. Along our way, there are lots of superbike convoy which head to Sepang as well. It was the race day and the que to enter Sepang area was endless. Finally, we got there, park the car quite far and have long walk to the entrance. We already wore the headband before entering the Sepang. Surprisingly as we enter the main entrance, couple of guys stopped us and request to snap photos of us. They were amazed by the ROSSI headband that we wore. Heheheh....Later...as we walked through the SIC, lots of people stopped us for photo snapping session. We are countless but there are guys from newspaper, magazine, foreigners, bla bla bla...But...since we are in good mood today and we are ROSSI's fans...of course we don't mind with all the glamorous moment...Heeeeeeee.....
Hahahaha....we have the grandstand tickets and we can seat wherever we want to. So, we took a place just in front of Yamaha booth so that we can observe what Rossi is doing. Hahah....this is crazy...but we are fans of ROSSI!!!!!
The race begun smoothly until the heavy rains starts pouring in the middle of the motogp race. The race has to stopped until it's confirm save to continue the race. Unfortunately, we have to satisfied with only 13 laps. We also need to wait for the rain to stop for us to move a move from the grandstand. Later, we just walk through the rain and stopped at one booth to one booth and capture photos with the rider.

On the next Monday morning, my sis Wati browse the web on online newspaper and what surprise us is that our photo was in it! Our neighbour called us and asked us to buy the newspaper since our photo also was in the newspaper. Hahahahahah... Unbelievable...this is fun...Guess what..we are going back to Sepang next year....!

Beris Lake Vineyard
It's located at Sik, Kedah and it's all about grapes! Although only three of us for this trip, (others can't make it) we satisfied ourselves throughout the journey. There's nothing much about this place except for it's grapes. But what relieves me that, the management has build up a sideways with bench facing the Beris lakeview. Lean against bench with the panorama pleasure makes you want to stay there forever - soothing experience. We took the tour in the grapes farm and snapping photos everywhere - grapes are hanging just on top of your head and you can't resist yourself from plucking them. And of course for plucking them, you will be charge RM50 per kg. As treat for ourselves, we bought a fridge magnet, fresh grapes and the own process Beris's grapes juice. Well, for those who hasn't been there yet, just spend your weekend and be there - kick off yourself from all the city hectic and enjoy the exciting and soothing experience.

P/S: Recommended that on your way to the grapes farm, spare some time to enjoy the delicious laksa opposite the lemang stall.

Salam Aidilfitri
Assalamualaikum....and wishing best of Hari Raya to every Muslim around the world....We had plan something different this year...instead of staying home at first raya and waiting for relatives to visit us, we plan to go to our relatives...so...after visit arwah Mama...we start our journey to meet our relatives.....By end of the day, I felt like..that's it...That was the whole hari raya for me this year....
