Salam Aidilfitri

Assalamualaikum....and wishing best of Hari Raya to every Muslim around the world....We had plan something different this year...instead of staying home at first raya and waiting for relatives to visit us, we plan to go to our relatives...so...after visit arwah Mama...we start our journey to meet our relatives.....By end of the day, I felt like..that's it...That was the whole hari raya for me this year....

An Evening in Straits Quay

"Bila nak kawen?"

"How old are you?"

"I'm 29."

"When you're getting married?"

"I don't know."

"Have any fiancee?"

"Nope."

"Then go out and see some guys.."

"Hmmm......."

I am getting bored with all this question. Why people always bugging me with all this question? Like wise man ever said "Jodoh Pertemuan di Tangan Tuhan". We just go with the flow....Furthermore, my life is miserable and married is just one word which the last thing I'll think about at this moment.

44 days.....

Al Fatihah buat arwah Mama tersayang. Hari ni genap 44 hari Mama meninggalkan kami sekeluarga. Pemergian Mama bagaikan impak yang amat sangat buat kami, namun kami redha dengan ketentuan Allah. Dalam sekelip mata Mama pergi dan tinggalkan kami semua dalam kebingungan yang tak dapat dijelaskan. Masih terasa kehadiran Mama di rumah, terbayang-bayang Mama bergerak, bertutur, bergurau senda...

Dan mulai hari Mama pergi dan hari-hari seterusnya...kami sekeluarga harus menempuh semua keaadaan tanpa kehadiran Mama. Semoga Allah memberi kami sekeluarga kekuatan untuk mengharungi kali pertama untuk semuanya tanpa Mama.

Semoga Mama selesa di sana dan ditempatkan di kalangan hamba-hambaNYA yang beriman. AMIN.

P/S: 14th August 2011 - This is the hardest post and took a very long time for me to complete...Every words that I type was followed with tears...and at last, here's the only piece that I manage to post it.

New Year Gathering Dinner

I open my mailbox this morning and received an invitation for a gathering dinner at EQ hotel tonight. Immediately, my answer is NO since I have no transport(my car still in the workshop after the accident) and have asked my father's help to send me to work. Later that morning, Fara asked me either to join or not and after discussion(job settlement and car pool), we decided to join the dinner together. Plus,Teoh is going to join us in the car pool. We reached there at 8pm and immediately served ourselves with the food/buffet served. We sat together with our boss, and we had about 6-7 rounds of repeating the buffet. The most likely is banana fritters. With my simple creativity, I have dress up the banana with chocolate topping, sprinkles with chocolate rice and almond. Whoever stopped at our table were fascinated with the decoration til they also prepared the same course including my Boss! Down to the dessert...Neither me or Fara had to go through another round of buffet. Both of us are totally full!!!Later..to conclude the event, my GM speak up some speeches and there is end of the night. Fara, Teoh and me excuse ourselves and head up home.

P/S: Fara is fun. It's cool to have a colleague like Fara who's can cheer up my day...
