The Sidney Sheldon Book Club

Recently, I've watched a drama movie on Star Movies which entitled " The Jane Austen Book Club" - watched it with my dear oldest sister. The movie was about a bunch of girl friends of 6,with their own philosophy of life....had planned to start a book club. The purpose is that they will pick one author and by turns...they will discuss a book in a month. And they have pick their own favourite author - Jane Austen. As all of you know, Austen herself have pen down several of famous-to-remember novels such as Sense & Sensibility, Pride & Prejudice,Persuasion,Emma etc. What makes the storyline is more interesting is that, the girl friends coincidentally had choose books that related to their life without notice. Well, I'm not going to write down the whole story line....

My point is that while watching this movie, my sister has come up with an idea --- let's team up for "The Sidney Sheldon Book Club"! I totally agree! My sister and I are the big fan of Sheldon's! We have the whole collection of his book! It's nothing to loose for chosen Sheldon. I love the way he wrote. Amazing...the scope of his books are wide...From romantic to thriller and even to sci-fi and conspiracy.....

But....my concern is...who will team up with us? Hmmmmm.....

50% Off - Mother's Day Special!!!!

Well, today is my lucky day.....Went to TESCO with my mum and sis..just to grab few of groceries....and as we step into TESCO, we saw a signage for Mother's Day Promotions for Cadbury's.

I grabbed one box of Cadbury Classic Collection and q-up for paying...The cashier scanned it and the price shown was RM18.90...Geeeesssss....I thought the promotion is 50% off?! Well, it's doesn't matter...if the price not as shown then we just put away the choc...but the cashier insist to check up the price...and it's also fine with me...we just wait...and come another promoter saying that the choc is not in promotion. Not just that...she even call upon me to re-check the price..

Just to satisfy her and myself that I'm not mistaken, I followed her...she showed me the price on the box but I showed her the price on the promotion signage. And there she goes....she took the signage promotion and hand it to the Customer Service....and after scanned the box, the price is really RM18.90. So, to please me, they have to sell off the choc to me only for RM9.45. Oh...Lucky me! Later after that, they took off the promotion signage....

And at the end of the day...it's only me the luckiest customer who's got to buy a Cadbury Choc for 50% Off! ~~~~~Happy Mother's Day, MAMA!!!!
